What is PGSM?
PGSM is the abbreviation for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. This is not just a translation of the Japanese name for the Live-Actio Sailor Moon series, but the generally accepted international name for the live-action series. Unfortunately for the American fans, PGSM has only been aired in Japan, and there is no official english translation. The series follows neither the manga nor the anime. It combines elements of both into something different.
There were 49 episodes, plus the Special Act and the Act Zero which is a prequel to the series. The storyline starts with Usagi learning she is a senshi and continues to Queen Beryl's demise, which makes it roughly equivalent to the first season or so of the anime. This series is finished however, and no new episodes are being produced.
The Domain Name
Kirari translates roughly as "sparkling" and was drawn from the PGSM theme song, Kirari*SailorDream. So the domain means something to the effect of Sparkling Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
About This Site
This site was originally created to archive my fan works of the series and as a sort of mini-shrine to the imagery in PGSM. Now, however, it boasts an informational section, media downloads and much more. As such, it is very image/media intensive. Dial-up users, ye be warned.
I am biased towards Ami and the Shitennou, and I make no attempts to hide this fact. Most of my graphics/fanart will have them as the subject.
The site itself is coded by hand in Notepad and the graphics are done in PhotoshopCS.
