Basic Info

     The Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series aired from October 4th, 2003 to September 25th, 2004. There were 49 episodes aired on television, plus the Making of Special. There were also 3 straight to DVD releases, the Special Act, Act Zero and Kirari SuperLive and one VHS only release, the Dance Lesson.

     The basic plot is based around the original 5 senshi and the Dark Kingdom (Beryl and the Shitennou). The series follows the Sailor Moon manga more closely that the anime, although it differs from both in both plot and characterization. Fans of the anime/manga should not expect an exact retelling.
