Colorful-Summer.net has no concept of how to properly credit people for the fan graphics that they are taking and redistributing without permission.

I contacted them, then Dark_Branwen contacted them (read D_B's post here) in the comments of the news post regarding the massive page of icons that were taken. Instead of e-mailing us (like we politely asked), our comments were removed and we were ignored.

We weren’t demanding anything outrageous, just for our icons to be separated by creator, credit be given by linking to the correct creator and to ASK PERMISSION if they wanted to redistribute icons in the future. Not exactly unreasonable.

So now instead of resolving this nicely, I’m forced to fire off a nasty letter to Colorful Summer’s host about this. Hopefully they get their ass in gear and sort the icon page correctly, because (contrary to popular belief) I don’t enjoy getting people’s sites taken down.

Proboards Site - August 20th

This person stole my site's banner images (rainbow with silhouetted senshi) for use on her board. Did not take them down when asked on livejournal. I had to contact her directly on her board. Said she needed links to my site before she could remove them. Oh wait, I gave you them the day before, you fucking liar.

Later, she claims it was a "misunderstanding" because my TOU says you can use the graphics in the graphics sections with credit. Then she bans me from her site. Misunderstanding? Where exactly on my site does it say "Hey! Steal my banners, layout, logo and graphical identity for you shitty-ass site's banner and linking buttons, but be sure to give me a link if you do"? No, it says you may use my signatures or avatars in your personal journal or forum with clear credit.

And while I'm at it, this person is claiming to be affiliated with many sites that she's not. The Pockybox? Yea right! Honey, I'm one of the witches (Cyprine) and they want NOTHING to do with you. (She took this down after Mimette herself had to ask her to take it down)

And on a final note "Found across livejournal" is NOT an acceptable way to give credit to the talented people who made your avatars. Give them individual credit in your signatures.

Resolution - Took the banners down, thank god.
