The layout has very colorful repeating images for the background, which distracts from the text. In addition, the font colors are too bright, making things like the bios almost impossible to read. To correct this problem, make a plain, light colored background for your text and use the colorful images to one side or as a header. This way you can still use the busy images and the bright text without giving anyone a headache.
Admittedly, this is a 2 minute knockup and a bit crap, but we can see the difference the subdued text space makes, right? Example
Navigation could also use some work. There is no labelling of where the menu is and the links are all different colors, which makes it difficult to tell what is a link. Navigation was also not consistant throughout the pages, with only a "back" link on some of the pages. I think a standardized menu bar or menu block would help. Furthermore, the navigation order should be changed a bit. My suggestion is to combine the profiles into one "Profiles" link and to put the fanworks and updates BEFORE the webmistress link. Frankly, most people will never visit an "About Me" page anyway.
Also, do you have permission to use the Wallpapers from http://www.akumayuki.com/akumawp/index.html as backgrounds? That site's disclaimer says "The wallpapers on this site were all made by Ashe. Please do not repost without expressed permission from me." If you do have permission, it might be a good idea to use a credit page to state that and say where you obtained other images, like the calendar scans.
Text and Info - 7/10 -
The information presented is pretty much the same kind of bio info you can find on every other PGSM site. Maybe spice up the basic info with an opinion essay or rare tidbits or trivia. There are also a few typos and errors (such as misspelling Hama Chisaki's name.)
Besides the bright text on bright background problem, there are other formatting issues. The text is quite large. I would recommend making it a smaller 12px(1em) font size. Also, I would recommend the use of bold text or italics to seperate the actual bio information from the headers (see the above example). In addition, the bio blurbs need to be better divided into actual paragraphs.
Interactive - 2/10 -
You can send in your fanworks, but that's about the only interactivity on the site.
Originality - 2/10 -
Just the same old stuff found on every other PGSM site. Try to find a niche and specialize in something.
Return Factor - 2/10 -
There's just not much on the site and it's the same info that can be found on larger sites.
Overall - 17/50 -
Judging by the Updates, this is a very new site. It's a pretty good start, but it needs a lot more work.
